What is the Penarth Hooter?
For too long, the people of Penarth have been forgotten, and serious problems find themselves dismissed from the mainstream.
In the winter of 2025, tabloids unanimously printed lifestyle columns - many of them regarding methods of keeping warm or fun TV specials.
That same season, Penarth was struck by a meteor. Despite its continuing forensic examination, this issue was not promoted to the public at all.
Further back in history, during the Second World War (1939-45), women stole the spotlight for doing odd jobs about the homeland.
All the while, Penarth was so bustling with evacuees eager for its seafront that it risked being bombed right off of the United Kingdom - at a danger level many historians estimate to have been greater than London's.
And still, such histories remain in the corpus of the unreportable. It would be no exaggeration to suggest that the media back then may as well have looked like this:
